Game Animation Projects

Generally when I create animation I prefer to do so as part of a larger project. For games in particular, where animations are often small segments or a single action, it can be difficult to see the overall picture without seeing it in the context of the engine.

If you are interested in seeing some of my professional work, you can check out the Visualization category in the menu. This section is primarily for game animation projects I work on of my own choice.

Samus Project

The Samus Project was my first fully fleshed out third person character, complete with combat actions, interaction with objects, and a basic UI and targeting system. I was particularly inspired by games such as Mass Effect 3 and wanted to see what I could do with my knowledge at the time. This project was particularly enlightening and cemented my push toward tech animation.

Revolver Project

The Revolver Project was my first forey into doing FPS or viewmodel animation. With its distinction from Third Person animation, I wanted to play with the system and see what pitfalls I might come across for my first time entering this particular area.

Link Project

My oldest forey into game animation, Link was the first character I implemented into Unreal 5. While the project is quite dated, I like to keep it here as a reminder of how far I've come from my early days.

Creature Animation Gallery

Below are a few fun creature animations that I thought where quite fun. I simply enjoyed making these animations and wanted to share them.
